About Us
The Government of West Bengal has established 3,561 Bangla Sahayata Kendras (BSKs) across the state to provide free government services at the grassroots level through online mode. The primary objective of the BSK initiative is to strengthen the system of information dissemination and ensure easy access to various social welfare and development schemes for all citizens
BSKs are strategically located in the offices of District Magistrates, Sub-Divisional Officers, Block Development Officers, Gram Panchayats, Health Centres, Government-Aided Libraries, and all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), ensuring maximum reach and convenience.
A wide range of public services from multiple government departments are delivered through BSKs, covering transaction-based services, eWallet-linked services, and information services. The Personnel & Administrative Reforms and e-Governance Department is the Nodal Department for the BSK project, while a dedicated Project Management Unit (PMU) at the state level manages the day-to-day operations and service delivery across all Kendras.
Citizens can also access the available services online through the official portal: https://bsk.wb.gov.in/ . All services provided through Bangla Sahayata Kendra are entirely free of cost, and citizens are not required to pay any service charges.
